When did you start making art?
I started making art as a little kid! I was a very shy kid, and drawing was a really important way for me to express myself.

What inspires your subject matter?
I'm inspired by pioneering womxn from history, by plants, and by other artists, of course.

How has keeping sketchbooks influenced your practice?
Keeping sketchbooks influences my practice because I'm able to experiment with color palettes, shapes, and patterns that later inform my client work.

What are your favorite materials and tools to use?
In my sketchbook, I love to use acrylic paint markers on watercolor paper, and acrylic ink with a brush.

What are you most excited about for your workshop?
I'm excited to hear about other people's relationships with their sketchbooks!
