A DAILY WORKSHOP AND ARTIST SERIES TO HELP KEEP OUR COMMUNITY CREATIVE
Small Talks is our new interactive workshop and talk hosted by artists from our community. Each weeknight starting at 7pm EST, one artist will take over our virtual classroom and teach participants how to stay creative during this difficult time. Following every workshop there will be a Q&A for everyone to ask questions and interact with the class as if they would in person!
Price includes ALL 5 workshops! You will receive an email prior to Monday’s workshop with instructions on joining.

CAT WILLETT
“Maintaining a Sketchbook” In this workshop, Cat will provide guidance on how to maintain a routine and keep a sketchbook. Learn how to stay motivated and look for the things around you when searching for creative inspiration.
THE JEALOUS CURATOR
“Using Art as a way to Make Lemonade” Danielle Krysa, voice behind The Jealous Curator, will use this workshop to help participants use art as a way to make lemonade out of the pile of lemons we’re currently sitting in. She will provide different prompts and jumpstarter projects inspired by her books, “Creative Block,” “Collage,” “Your Inner Critic Is A Big Jerk,” were the first three, and “A Big Important Art Book – Now with Women.”
AMBER VITTORIA
“The Sake of Drawing” Inspired by drawing for ourselves, this workshop will be a session where participants draw with their eyes closed. Amber will provide 3 prompts: the first will be to draw an object in front of you, the second will be to draw your favorite place from memory, and the third will be a self portrait. The aim of this workshop is to let go of the idea of “perfection,” and to take this time to detach from the happenings in the world.
KATE CASTELLI
“Tips and Tricks for Collage” In this workshop, Kate will provide the different ways for participants to create art with the tools they already have! Learn how to repurpose old magazines, photos, incorporate different mediums and make different stories through collage.
SARAH MYERS
“Hand Lettering” Sarah will use this workshop to share her personal tips on how to begin hand lettering. Participants will learn to incorporate hand letting into their work, use different mediums to create their own style and add different variations to refine their lettering for each piece of work they create.
