“Telling a Story with Printmaking.” How is storytelling related to printmaking? How can we draw inspiration from folklore and mythology to create art? In this workshop, Beatriz will give you tips on how to get inspired from the fantastic world and use that to get creative. Participants will learn to create a monotype print by setting up a simple printmaking studio at home.

You will need (materials):

• Paper

• Surface to roll ink in (it must be smooth and non absorbent)

• Relief printing ink

• Pens, pencil, eraser

• Scrap paper

• White Spirit or turpentine substitute
