In this workshop, printmaker and book artist, Sarah Matthews will show you how to use an existing image, transfer that image to lino/rubber, how to carve a stamp, and make colorful and dynamic prints. Sarah will go over some basic block printing and layering techniques along the way. No experience is necessary. Fun is required.

• Mikisyo Power Grip Carving Tools

• Pfeil Swiss Made V Gouge #12 8mm (optional)

• Pfeil Swiss Made V Gouge #12 1mm (optional)

• Speedball Speedy Carve

• Versafine Clair Stamp Pad – Get at least a Pink/Red, Blue, & Yellow

• Neenah Exact Vellum Bristol 67lb paper – Cut your pages down to 6” x 6”

• Cutting Mat

• Utility Knife or Xacto Knife

• Bonefolder

• Ballpoint pen

• Ruler

• Pencil
