In this workshop, mixed media artist Brianne Burnell will show you how to create unique art tools from easy to find materials. Let your imagination run wild and explore what new shapes and patterns can be created with your original tools. This is the perfect workshop for abstract artists who are tired of using the same old paintbrushes, and are looking to make unique marks in their artwork.
Suggested Materials:
-Cardboard
-Hot Glue Gun
-10-15 Wooden dowels (alternative: sticks from outside, old paintbrush handles, popsicle sticks)
-A few sponges
-Yarn or string
-Pipe cleaners
-Feathers
-Tape
-Any kind of paper to test out your new tools
-Acrylic paint
-Scissors
Optional Materials:
-Pompoms
-Mini Pompoms
-Fabric Scraps
