SKETCHBOOK RETURN REQUEST FORM
We're sad to hear you would like your sketchbook removed from our library! While we do note on our site that all books sent back to us will remain a part of our permanent collection at Brooklyn Art Library, we understand there are some extreme cases when your book must be removed. It is at our discretion whether or not a book will be removed from the collection.
We've got a few ideas for you before you fill out this form...
Feeling like your book isn't being checked out as often as you would like?
Make sure you've tagged your book with a lot of search terms in your account at www.sketchbookproject.com. Your book will be found by the content you provide there, so double check that it's complete! And we also suggest adding digitizing to your book, this allows it to live forever in our Digital Library with its own unique URL. Share with friends and family all over the world.
Embarrassed about your artwork out there for the world to see?
Think of your sketchbook as a time capsule capturing a tiny sliver of your life from a very specific moment in time. We all grow, change (and even improve our skills), but it's a pretty neat idea to have a piece of your creative past nestled in among thousands of other stories.
Missing your sketchbook and want it back in your hands?
That's part of the beauty of this project. The thousands of artists who have created something to send back to our collection have given up something personal, that a lot of time and effort was spent on. We think it's pretty cool that over 40,000 books have been sent back to us and we hope you'll agree!
